Argh, Crimson beat me to the cheese. I'll try corn and some fruits and vegetables. Maybe bring some other cut of meat to. I know I have a lot.

It's definitely ok if we have too much meat. That's a good problem

Wife said she is planning on making bbq meatballs, potato salad, and twice baked potato casserole so far. And probably a dessert or two knowing her. And you wonder why I'm fat...

food, food, and more food. Ah! *drools* Now the only things missing is the select few of the watch unable to enjoy such a feast! Hail the glorious dead and those off in far off lands.

I can make or bring just about anything. I love to cook, so what would be best. Also, any ideas on how we're going to heat stuff up. You mentioned someone should bring ham and I'm curious as to how Ham would be cooked over a camp fire. If there's a decent way to heat stuff up, I could bring my very popular lasagna or some yummy enchiladas or something similar. However, if all we have is a camp fire, maybe I should just bring some hot dogs and s'mores or something.

Goodness, I hope not. If that's the case, I might as well just kill something on the roadtrip there.

A ham can be wrapped in foil and set upon a bed of hot coals. Lasagna or enchiladas would probably be harder to prepare, but not impossible. If you made it in one of those disposable foil dishes with a lid, then you could probably burry it in coals to heat it back up. The problem then becomes space at the fire pit for everyone heating stuff up. However, if you bring food, I have faith in Tulkas' ability to find a way to make it hot. Yeah for the ingenuity of the builders!

This builder is bringing his coleman 2 burner camp stove and 2 bottles of propane. Definitely not period, but I'm not excited to eat cold bbq meatballs or twice potato bake.
