Name: Azgarehta Azrubel
Age: 30
Aliases: Azgarehta the Bard, "Bard" of Black Company
Race: Human
Location: Camped at Esgaroth
Origin: Of Numenorean parentage, born of Imrahil Bar-Azrubel and Urunatha Azrubel of Arnor. His father a successful Merchant Lord of Arnor, Azgarehta grew up in relative ease and leisure. Raised on the best tutors, he studied the length and breadth of history and philosophy.
History: Azgarehta Azrubel was born to a wealthy merchant family of Numenor in the late 2nd age. He grew up being tutored by the best minds that money could buy. His father, a Merchant Lord, was very much in the political scene and a very vocal proponent of Numenorean independance from all outward influence. Some of the Numenoreans still followed Melkor and Sauron, while some were breaking from that lineage to follow the Elves and the Valar. Imrahil Bar-Azrubel was of the unpopular third opinion of isolationist agenda. With his considerable wealth and influence, Imrahil sought to sway the isle of Numenor away from its plan to make war on the Valar in the Undying Lands.
Unsuccessfully and admonished by the king, Imrahil Bar-Azrubel, his wife Urunatha and their sons alighted all their belongings for the mainland the same night that Ar-Pharazon set the Numenorean armada to set sail against the Valar. Urunatha was warned in a dream that there would be a great destruction for Ar-Pharazon's actions against the gods. They landed on the shores of Middle Earth, and after some time of travel, they settled in the lands of the refugees of Akallabeth.
To the north, Arnor, and to the south, Gondor. Being of an isolationist perspective, Imrahil settled in Arnor, for it was farther away from Melkor's influence and closer to the sea. Amidst this transition, Azgarehta grew restless of moving, restless of the endless political maneuverings of his Father, and not quite settling in with the Arnor crowd; he set to living the live of debauchery on his father's wealth. After wiling away his own wealth, his father severed ties with Azgarehta for political means, and sent him away with his inheritence.
Azgarehta then left Arnor and traveled the countryside living it up. He incurred gambling debts in some of the cities and ended up on the run from Loan Sharks. He assumed the alias "Bard", and spend his days trolling various taverns, playing music and storytelling for the few pence of room, board, and food. About that same time, the Black Company was camping in the city and the Loan Shark ran crossways of them and got himself killed. Out of gratitude, Azgarehta took up with the Black Company, and has traveled with them ever since, being known as "Bard of Black Company".
Appearance: As a human. He has become more weathered with age as he spends more time traveling on long marches to battle.
Strengths and Weaknesses: His strength is in his steel. Determination and resolve to finish the mission. He has a broad breadth of knowledge from his noble upbringing, tempered by his education in the world of road wisdom. Bard is tricky, as are most of Black Company, with rumors and myths surrounding what may have been his deeds.
Weapons Style: Spear, Dagger, anything available.
Alignment: True Neutral
