Well I posted this on the national board but was told to handle it at a local lvl. As dominion dosnt have a forum and I am not sure who to e-mail about it here it is. If this isnt where it should be please move it then.
Someone in Dominion has my wallet and I want it back. My name is Stephen Young and my ID was in it. I know for sure I had a couple air plain tickets from germany, a ticket to worlds of fun, and some money (IIRC $10 or so). If the gas cost from their to independence is so crippling let me know where I can pick it up and I will drive out their tuesday.
I was told that the reason my wallet was kept, instead of giving to a leader of the realm I am part of, was because in their infinite wisdom the person or people who have my wallet decided for me that I should be going out their instead of the location I choose to practice at.

If the person who has your wallet won't give it back report it stolen.

That is always an option but I would like to try and get it back first.
I am also more than a bit pissed the reasoning of the Dominion people involved was because they think I should drive out their and so they keep my wallet to get me to practice with them...

Why do you keep saying "they" and "them." These are plural, isn't a particular person holding your wallet, or is it really the majority of the realm. (I don't care either way, I am just curious)

Do you remember who has your wallet? Or what they look like? I assume it was a lady as they are usually the only ones who handle money or ids. And they only have 3 now.
They wouldn't keep your wallet to get you to come to practice. I would assume its because the person wanted to be certain you got it.
If you remember who it is or what they look like, I will bring it to you. You can email me at ladyfaraday@gmail.com

I can tell you from my own experience. They tend to prefer to deal directly with the person invovled. If they kept it so YOU could pick it up, it was so that they could match a face to the ID and insure it made it back to the correct person. In todays world of stolen identities, you can NEVER be to safe.

um you left your wallet at our event. you can come get it. its not a conspiricy. im shure if you talked to someone they would be more than willing to meet you somewhere so you can get it back instead of coming on here and geting all pissed off because we dont hand your wallet to random person in your group and then you get pissed at us later because of some other issue. send me a PM with your telephone # and i will contact you once i locate who has it. but we are not going to deliver it to you. YOU left it and can come and get it or we can meet you somewhere. assuming the gas is not to cripling that you cant make it 15-20 miles from independence to grandview to pick it up.

The problem I have with this whole deal has more to do with only just finding out where it is. I would have been more than happy to drive out their and get it if someone could tell me where it is.
Then I get the people who tell me I shouldnt be upset that someone had my wallet for over three weeks and made no attempt to contact me. Added to that, I was told that the person who told the Lyonesse group about my wallet being found said (just about word for word) "He can drive out here and get it, he should be going out to our practices anyway."

Sounds like that person is being facetious. I would just let it go and get your wallet issue resolved. Issue has been discussed and a resolved found. No need to justify why you are upset on theses boards any longer in a public topic. All issue from here can be handled through PMs with informed parties.
