You better show up! No last minute changes ;-) On a serious note, we had 176 people at War! That is the biggest event around here. I know how far it is for everyone to travel and how it can be a strain. We really appreciate everyone coming out and making our events better and better
I remember when I started and we hit a record 25 people of Sunday battle. Now we get that easily when its pouring. Its been a privilege to see Dag and Dominion grow into what have and how much more we are going to.

I GET TO GO THIS YEAR!
I'm a little excited, because last year the event fell about two weeks after my son was due.
How much goes on on Sun.? I work on Sundays and need to know if I should take a vacation day.

I remember showing up to Gates 2.
Drove all night, Got there about 10-11. Stepped out and met Aster for the first time. He looked at us, said "you guys are early. Troll opens at 12. HOLY CRAP YOUR FROM TEXAS!!!"
Look on his face was priceless.

Heh.. we were kind shocked when people would come from that far at first. We figured we would never get anyone outside of Kansas or Missouri.. MAYBE Colorado.. we're used to the east coast snubbing us and we kinda figured no one else cared.

Well, as it stands now, I have a fairly good chance of being able to take leave for gates! to put it into percetails, about 75% I'm pretty sure they're let me go, we just have to see the training schedule, which could take a while. I'll let all of you know, when I buy plane tickets.

Hopefully I can bring some new people from Joplin and get them hooked as well!

I remember falling asleep sittin on top a cooler with five tabbards and a pair of boxer just to keep warm. Everything else I owned was soaked. I remember Flood Gates. Besides the rain it was a lot of fun! Dominion has had me hooked ever since! Can't wait for Gates! Hopefully I can bring some new people from Joplin and get them hooked as well!
