I have received permission from Dominus to start a official province of Rome here in the Mid-west. As far as I know this is only the second time this has been allowed. Many many many of the details will need to be worked out and I am more than sure things will evolve over time. Currently I am having a very very sparce practice in raymore in the middle of the work week. Days vary due to my schedule. This week it will be on wensday at raymore memorial park. I am leaning towards calling it Britannia, because that was the end of the world in the ancient Romans time. If any one is interested I can be contacted at unconsun@hotmail.com I don't think my aster@dagorhir.com is working but you can try it if you like. Also if you are interested I would recommend reading the Mos Maiorum at www.romanempire.net/romepage/ForumRomanum/mosmaiorum/The%20Mos%20Maiorum.pdfIt will explain many thing. It is a great resource for any prospective Roman. Thanks... Aster

Memorial Park - 400 Park Lane Memorial Park is located off Olive Street, behind Raymore Elementary School. The park area emcompasses 20+ acres and has a pleasant mix of passive and active space. The park hosts several of Raymore's special events and festivals. Hours of operation: Dawn to 11 p.m.

It depends. Most of official Rome is in the northeast, as I understand it. Provinces like this are rare and thus naming this unit as Britana is viable for Dag.

No doubt about that. I am only saying that while rome is mainly north east now, hopefully rome will one day be from coast to coast, and all over the country. If/When that happens it would be nice to have the name Britania saved for the coast. Just a thought. At any rate I applaud and support rome in having a province in the mid west.

I have heard what you guys have said and I have thought long and hard about it. I think I am still going to go with Britannia. The only other name that I really liked was Alexandria, but I kept comming back to Britannia. Also we will be having fighter practice on tuesday the 26 th at raymore memorial park at 5ish...aster

Coolio. Its good to have more units out and abouts in the MidWest. I know Nox is a roman, and you and him are the only ones I've seen out here.
