Ok guys it's time to make my first piece of armor, I'm looking to go for something fairly light and very mobile. I got some deerskin I was gonna use as a backing and rivet leather scales onto it. After I finish the scales, I was going to attach my spaulders to the hauberk. And after the hauberk do the samething with some deerskin and scales for some faulds. As I said before I already have the deerskin, I was looking at buying a couple hundred scales off of ebay, now for the fasteners, I was thinking about going with brass rivets to match my spaulders and bracers. If anyone knows where I can buy them in bulk that would be great thanks

I would say Ebay. Don't take my word on it though.
