To all whom are out and about:
I am beginning to think my trek into the world of arrows is at an end. any idea where to get foam for the tips?
i have plenty of blue foam and i am looking for a foam that will not consistantly fail hit check.
if it can be purchased locally (Springfield, MO) that great, if not thats fine too.

My best suggestion is to get some of the Poof brand footballs from Wally World and cut them into the required shape, they usually pass inspection...

Another option is the greyish-black foam that computer parts sometimes come in. It's dense enough that it'll sting for a bit the first couple times you shoot it, but they break into great arrowheads.

You're in luck! It's also the same foam they use for gun packing and miniatures. You might try this site for samples, found it with my google fu. www.foamorder.com/packing.htmlMaybe Y33 Packing Foam or Y37ch Foam? I would try to check into a sample first. Foam suppliers will send for free or minimal cost.
