Mehran didn't gape. She watched interestedly. Life seemed to be becoming more and more intense ever since she had become the leader of the Harem of Irye. But the fearless Mistress approached problems either head-on or with finesse. She rarely ran away, and with such a powerful ally at her side, she chose to remain close. Tormir screamed and dropped to the ground. "Well, then," she announced cheerfully. "I don't know what happened, but very well done to whatever, or whoever, the cause belongs." She turned to Pyra and smiled; the djinneyeh dipped her head. "I sense no extraordinary magic, Master."
"Nor did I, dear. Nor did I. Still, drop the shield, will you?" Mehran gestured toward the being. "And perhaps, if he cooperates, bind him? I think by magical means; anything else, and he'll be up and out in no time, I fear." She approached the collapsed Tormir slowly, anticipating surprise. She wouldn't be caught blind. Drawing a hidden blade, she also picked up a handy stick and poked the body. "Still breathing," she said to the company. "What do we do with him now?"

Kye moaned from beneath the heavy body. Something had landed on him moments after he had seen a flash of lights and a blood curddling scream.now that something was resting its wieght upon his back, not unlike earlyer today. his ire was rising, the next time someone decided to land on him unexpectetly, he would be sure to make them regret it.
"get... OFF!" kye breathed, as he tryed to shove the weight away. finally free of the thing, he stood up only to fall back on lis back.

Tormir felt the poke of the stick and then the ground beneath him began to move. Then, having been heaved off the ground, he found he lay on a more level surface. His eyes fluttered open and he saw a man rise and fall again. He saw the djinn-summoner there too. The one who had cursed him as a demon and who had most likely caused the attack. Why? Why had she done that? He supposed that in the night he must look like a demon but still. In the light the djinn had shed she should have been able to realize that he was no beast of the abyss, Blood angels actually appear to be human but have black or red angel wings and many vampiric qualities. He saw them but momentarily before the blackness claimed him again...

"Whoo... dizzy," kye muttered as he grappled his forehead, rubbing his eyes.
Kye just lay there, waiting for the world to stop spinning...

Rin also seemed to be grounded, but for rather different reasons. The unfortunate Kye had been the landing pad for their fallen visitor. Part of her knew that she should get up and check on the situation, not that she would stop laughing anytime so. But if she did, Kye would be tended to.
Once again, IF she could stop.

Zan observed the odd creatures somehow materializing around him with a sense of woe. He must REALLY be losing his touch if these beasts of the night could sneak up on him from all directions without his knowledge. He began muttering to himself and gave no response to anyone who spoke directly to him. His thoughts overtook him and he began to space not from boredom, but from a mental return to the training of a warrior from his ill-fated former lands. He drifted along the waves of time, remembering the pitch black battle on the hill, where demons had commanded thousands of undead, lycan cursed, goblins, and assorted other creatures that hide within the darkness.
Even without sight, he had known where each one had been. He could hear them breathing, stepping, moving, all of it. He could smell their fear, anger, and lust for violence. He knew where their blades and claws would be, far before the beasts began their attack. His two hundred and eighty knights had slaughtered eight thousand three hundred and twenty-six individual creatures, with a loss of twenty-nine. The wizards in the rear were the most prevalent killers, felling hundreds with one casting.
Why then, could Zan not feel these creatures like back then? Humans were loud even when standing still, wolves' fur hissed when the wind blew through it, and winged creatures such as the one on the ground there...flapping wings could wake the dead. Where was his head? Where had his training gone? Oh crap, look at him now...spacing...vulnerable from any direction.
His attention snapped back into reality and poised his dagger for defense, again.

Tormir fought his way back to consciousness again. He shook his head and looked around. There stood a man with a dagger, two wolves, the djinn-summoner and on the ground lie the one who had broken his fall. He slowly rose, hands lifted to show there was no threat and he brushed himself off with his wings. He slowly spoke and did so clearly as possible, it was hard to think after one had just woken again. " What is this place? Who are you people?" Turning to the summoner he posed a final question. "Why did you send the demon upon me?"
He moved to the corpse of the horse and began drinking the blood still spilling from its throat. So sweet.... So good..... He rose, after having drunk his fill and turned, waiting for a response. They all seemed to be frozen, whether in horror or in awe. It was hard to distinguish most of the time. He stopped. He only just realized that there was a magic on him. It wasn't malevolent but he didn't like it. It was a speed charm. He was moving much faster than he should be, and he was seeing the people as they had been when he had fallen. He thought he knew what had done it... That demon. He felt a sting on his shoulder and looked up to see a small imp perched on his shoulder, grinning at him. He decided that it was too much. Using the speed with which it had bestowed him, he grabbed it, harmlessly pinning it's poisonous tail at it's side. "You tell your master, tell him that Tormir sent you back. Tell him that the power of the Gods is with me and he isn't welcome here. And as a side note, if he enters my body unbidden again, he will be long in the abyss." He smiled and drew a small dagger from his boot and slit the little demons throat. It puffed into black smoke, releasing him from the spell and returned to the abyss. The rule was that you couldn't properly kill the damned things but you could banish them for a good 100 years or so...
He sheathed the knife and turned back to the people to see their reactions now. He slowly raised his hands again and proposed the same questions...
Then he waited.

Just then in the middle of all the excitement a young cockroach made way to creep out from under a rarely used hassock. Whether or not there were any hassocks in that setting has yet to be decided, but it still happened according to that particular cockroach as it looked around timidly, pretty sure that the 100-foot giants it saw (of course this is greatly exaggerated due to the cockroach being tiny compared to said people who would be somewhat 'normal, but once more it is all in perspective) were utterly insane. Absolutely and without doubt it made this judgment whilst watching the spectacle. So, not wishing to be near them any longer, it turned around and scuttled from whence it came, eager to escape the shenanigans.

Okay. I thought I was handling this well enough through PMs, but apparently, that doesn't work.
Oy! Yes! Okay, Soutome messed up. He's admitted it and apologized for it three times, to my reckoning. Get. Over. It. Either This rp can continue in peace, or it can't. But there's no sense in squabbling over something that happened upwards of three weeks ago. So let it go and continue RPing. Or don't. But no more of this abuse. Go reread Da Rules.

Noteing that Zan had pulled a weapon, Rin halted her laughter and stood next to the king. "Relax, sir, you should have no need of that." She smiled, thoughtlessly flashing her fangs. "That's why I'm here."

the world had long since stopped spinning, though he had felt no need to stand. laying there in the ankle high grass, Kye gazed longingly at the stars. the slight twinkle here and there, made him feel as though it was him who was being watched instead of him watching them. it was as though they where mocking him and his pitiful existence. mocking his inability to join them, to make his own path, and find his way to there side. Kye let out a hollow sigh as he pushed himself into a sitting position. what to do now? why did his back hurt? oh, right, THAT... Kye turned to look for what had landed on him.
"whoa, who're you all? And who decided to occupy my back as a suitible roost?"
