I need help with a buckler core. I know we have some plywood laying around here some where. What I need to know is what thickness is min/max on buckler cores. And how many layers of foam on the front of it and how many around the edge? I've looked on the main boards but couldn't find anything useful.

Wood is to heavy for a buckler. Try a 5gal bucket lid. under 2$ at Wal*mart.
3-4 layers front and sides. And 1, 2 inch rim on the back.

lol Yea, there was a discussion about that on the national boards. About throwing shields at people. Saweet. I'll probably go with the bucket lid, but keep the board in mind for a future punch shield.
