Start by diluting rubbing alcohol in water (one part alcohol to four parts water, roughly) and getting a washcloth wet with the solution. Scrub the areas that are moldy with the solution, and then allow it to dry.
If it is still moldy after that, you are going to have to go get a type of soap that has a germicide or fungicide. You'll have to get a good lather going and scrub the leather down again, and then carefully wipe it off and allow it to air dry, again.
Afterwards, treat your armor with wax. That'll help to stop that crap. Other times, you can find a special spray that can weatherproof leather at a shoe or luggage store. Look for something that treats leather shoes or luggage.

if you go to a western store you can buy saddle soap. I works great for washing moldy leather. Then just treat it monthly with mink oil to prevent further damage.

Don't paladins wear plate? That's profiling, Soulsar! Next you'll be saying orcs are dumb, or that all elves are femminine. All this bigotry has to go! Even if the satements ARE true!

Don't paladins wear plate? Actually when I’m fully armoured I wear a padded gambeson, leather, chain, splint-maille, and plate at the same time elf-boy!

see, and with that, i don't have to worry about someone ganking him from the rear sence i can't be his human shield. shiny, heavy armour is always a good substitute for arrow catchers such as myself.
