I'm confused, is this area for Mordor the Realm/Chapter, or Army of Mordor the Unit/Company ?

Both. we hadn't really had any Mordor-ites/ians/elites/... any of you guys except for AoM until recently. Most of AoM uses thier realms section (thangadorim, centrawoven, and such) So if you want to, jump right in here.
These sections here are meant for realms, and the units can get sub-sections with-in thier realms. So I guess it is intended for you anyways. Glad you guys can come and put it to use. I understand you have your own seperate boards, but this one is a great place to interact with several other long-time realms, and several up and coming realms. We ussually have some kinda event or mini-event in the works, and this is the quickest way to get all the realms informed.

Ah, nice of you guys to make sections for everyone and everything Lots to sift thru though, a little overwhelming IMHO. I think I used to frequent a midwest board a few years back, but it was white and blue ? Is this a newer mid west board or am I still confused ? At any rate, Thank you for the section I look forward to networking with more Dagorhirrim. I'm hoping to make it to Gates of Summer this spring. Here is a link to the Colorado Message Board; colodagorhir.proboards19.com/index.cgiNamaste, Cryn

Well, about a year ago we used the midwest boffer boards. It catered to all teh sports/games. But do to some situations best left as dead, Dagorhir left and made this board.
It turned out to be a good move, in my opinion. We seem to be networking more effeciently now, and there have been MUCH fewer incedents here.
These current boards cater to Dag, but except all.

Glad you like it here. Hope you stick around.
As for the colors, if you ever decide you want a change, in the "modify profile" section, you can select from many custom made skins.

I would like to make a friendly public service announcement ;D Many times Dagorhir folks have confused the Realm of Mordor with the Army of Mordor. This is understandable, however, annoying. The Realm of Mordor is a physical location in Colorado that has been a Chapter of the DBGA since February of 2002. Shadow and Attila decided on the name Mordor in August of 2001, while they were driving to Chaos Wars in Idaho. The Army of Mordor is a unit that was put together some years later by players in Mordor. The Army has spread to other areas of the United States, namely Texas, Missouri and Indiana. Some people have assumed that everyone in the Realm of Mordor is in the Army of Mordor. Or vice versa. This is not so. Most players in the Realm of Mordor are not part of the Army of Mordor. And most members of the Army of Mordor are not part of the Realm of Mordor. Very confusing isn't it ? We appreciate it if we we're treated as 2 seperate entities. How can we help differentiate between each other ?

See this is where I have been confused. I was informed (by a member of AoM) that army of Mordor was a unit of Mordor.
I think alot of the confusion between AoM and mordor, come not only from the outside, but also from the inside.
How to fix this? Not a clue. MAybe sacrifice Buster to the Confusion gods?

AoM Is a Unit *IN* Mordor. It is also A Unit *In* Thangordrim and *IN* Centrawoven. The AoM Started In Mordor, and is expanding nation wide with members in Co, Tx, Mo,Ks,IL, and a scattered few over seas. I think the best way to solve this is to look for our Patches. Every member of the AoM wears our unit symbol, as where a member of the Realm Of Mordor who is NOT in the AoM would not. You can see it here, mordor.us/UnitInformation.html Cryn, I am sure we can find a way to head up this problem, I am sorry if it causes so much confusion.

Most of the fighters at say, Ragnarok, will not know to look for patches. I had a few people at Ragnarok assume I was part of the Aom last year.
I would like to share a story of Mordor/Mordor confusion. Wil Scarlett told me to clean up Mordor's camp at Ragnarok. He had no idea of the difference. I enlightened him, and then I cleaned up the mess anyway... with a splinter in my foot too. As far as I know, Dalmar is the only person who camped up there who wasn't part of the Aom. So I was essentially cleaning up after the Aom only because they use the name of my Realm.
Can you understand my annoyance ?

Going to resurrect this thread to announce AoM is now active in Iowa as well. Komodrum has pledged itself to Sauron's cause! Had a good introduction to the AoM way of life(snaga style) at this last War of the Iron fist.
