As delegated spokesman for Draugardor, I have brought forth the news that we are leaving the Republic of Ravenwood. We wish to continue the good friendship and remain on good terms with Ravenwood. The vote was brought forth amongst the members of the realm, as a whole, and it was decided that we would become our own realm. Part of what brought about such consideration was the fact that many of our members have quite a distance to travel to reach the realm battles and all, which inconviniences other meetings. There has been much deliberation as to this move. We, the people of Draugardor, have had a fun time of it since joining in January, but we feel like we are going to be better suited as our own people, creating less inconvinience of travel as well as a sense of independancy.
For more information or debate, send a PM to myself of Lord Mordrau.
Respect and Honor, Lord Mordrau - Administrator and Warlord of Draugardor Tormir Aybara D'elacroix - Co-Administrator of Draugardor
Thank you for your time and patience of reading this.

I think this is a little sudden and without giving the rest of the realm a chance to propose any compromises, you are acting a bit rash. maybe we could get together as a whole and discuss this move before you officially renounce your rights as citizens of the republic.
but if you do choose to continue on this course I wish all luck and prosperity may follow you.

Okay, I have been speaking with Tormir and the matter has been peacefully resolved. I have permission to publish our emails here so as not to keep everyone in the dark about what has been going on. This is a copy of the email I sent to Tormir and also a copy of his response:
"I know Eldrin and Mordrau have been speaking on it, but as you seem to be the spokesperson I would also like to make an appeal to you. We completely respect your decision to start a realm of your own. However, we were saddened by the method in which this was revealed to us. You did not communicate to us your intentions so we had no idea what was going on until it was posted publicly in the forums. Also, we were confused by the reason giving for leaving the realm (distance to drive). In the constitution, we do not require our provinces to come to realm battles. We do encourage it but all that is needed to remain a citizen is to go to battle once a month within your own province (Warsaw). The other issue that probably hurt us the most was not so much your leaving the realm-but your leaving the realm and retaining the realm weapons that were given you to start the Ravenwood province. We spent several hundred dollars on all the mats and also put in time to help build them while at the same time teaching the method we use to build them. We would respectfully like to ask for the return of these weapons. They belong to the realm and we would like to keep them for realm use. The pirate sword Eldrin gave you was a personal gift and need not be returned. Likewise any sword and shield covers you guys have made yourselves and also the 2 crap swords that Mordrau said you guys repaired may be kept. I know you guys did not mean to take advantage of us but it did kind of happen regardless. I do not hold this against you in any way but I do ask that you remedy the situation to the best of your ability. Thank you
Ilyia Wyst Shadowsbane (Andrea Roush)"
"I'm going to take into assumption, a fault I admit, that you've read the emails between Eldrin and Mordrau. Taking that in my mind, you've heard our reason for splitting and it is indeed distance. I'll also say this, and I don't mean to sound....harsh. But any chance of possibly swaying this idea could have been done peacably, with emails such as the one you have sent, the one I am sending. The emails Eldrin sent were far too angry in content for us to revoke the descision now. We still wish to remain friends, don't mistake that. As far as communicating, we figured the boards were as good as any other form, there was no meaning in it other than to inform. As to the idea of us retaining the weapons, before it was put to a vote within the realm to actually become our own people, we had talk of both returning them or covering the cost of them. As it is we are set to return them. I want it known within Ravenwood that it was the idea to return either the weapons or the equal cost of the materials BEFORE we chose to leave. We did not aim to do this, it happened by chance, over time. It was not a plan from the start, we didn't aim to harm the Republic or anything such as that. As it is, we're going to be unable to make the trip next weekend to the RB. I have to talk to Mordrau first, they're housed at his place, but yourself and Eldrin should be able to get them next Sunday. It was made known to us that you would do a pick up of them if needed. As I said, I have to talk to Mordrau on that one.
The main advantage we gained is the knowledge of how to make swords like Ravenwood does. Basic construction knowledge is known to myself, it's to be had by anyone. However, Eldrin taught us his style, for which we are thankful. I hope this can all be resolved and we can all remain friends. I would like to remind the whole of Ravenwood that it is a game, no one aims to harm anyone. You've had bad past experiences, yes. But we're not of that same line of people.
Tormir Aybara D'elacroix"

I posted the e-mails I sent Mordrau to let everyone make their own decision if my e-mails were "angry." Apparently Mordrau and Draugador wants them taken down for some reason. So, now they are gone.

Eldrin, not so sure posting like that was a good idea, not without first consulting Mordrau first. I'm not telling you how to do it or what to do, just giving you a suggestion. I understand you respected his right to privacy in the matter by not posting his, but you said you wished to handle it privately.
Ilyia and I were under no such restrictions in privacy and therefore it is of less matter. She did come to me first and ask. This is just a friendly kind of heads up so you don't step on toes here. Hope I haven't stepped on any either.

Tormir, this is what you said in your e-mail to Ilyia;
"The emails Eldrin sent were far too angry in content for us to revoke the decision now."
So I posted my e-mails to him with the express purpose of showing that my e-mails were not angry, at least, I really don't think they were. If you guys really want me to take them down, I will. just let me know for sure. But like I said, you may not have known why I posted them.
Basically, your letter makes me sound like an a$$. Like you guys wouldn't have left if I would have asked you nicely not to. But I am not like that at all. I let people do what they want and make their own decisions. I figured this was the path you guys wanted to take, so it would be disrespectful, in my opinion, to try to convince you to not do what you want to do.
So, really, now that you know my reason for posting my e-mails, do you still want me to take them down? cause I will in a heartbeat.

Eldrin: The judgment call is your own. I have yet to work out a date, my apologies there. Got sidetracked last night while talking. I'll get a day to pick them up worked out and we'll let you know.
As to if you take the e-mails down... it's up to you. Like I said, I wasn't trying to tell you what to do, just suggesting something. If it offended you, I'll apologize. Give me a bit til I've woke up properly and I'll send you a PM with what I would have done differently, if you would still like to know.

The majority of the weapons have been returned and this issue is now completely over and obsolete. Thank you, Tormir for helping us bring this issue to an end. Amends have been made and all is well.

Damn right you were Orrin! I'd like to publicly apologize for any of my actions or words that have offended anyone. I thought long and hard on this and I feel that my apology needs to be made. I wish for us all to make friends again as it were and go on playing this amazing sport with much much less drama. And Ilyia, I'd like to thank you(and Ash I suppose) for helping bring this to a peaceful conclusion. It was good to get you your stuff back and it was good to talk for a while too.
