DAGORHIR GUILDER EVENT RULES:
Attending
All attendees, including non-participants must sign a waiver at the gate (troll). Please have identification and the event fees applicable to you ready when you reach the gate. Non-Notarized waivers signed outside the troll will not be accepted. Minors MUST have a parent, or legal guardian or sibling over the age of 18 present.
Minor's waivers must be notarized and brought to the event if their parent is not with them at the time of the signing.
The waiver may be found at www.dagorhirragnarok.com/DagorhirWaiver.pdf
Legal guardians must provide court-signed documents showing guardianship. Siblings must share last name or be able to definitively prove they are sibling/related.
Drinking
No one under the age of 21 may consume alcohol, unless: That person is directly given the alcohol by the minor's parent or legal (court ordered) guardian, or spouse if the spouse is at or above legal drinking age. That guardian/parent/spouse must remain in visible sight of the minor. Laws are posted below.
Violations will be reported to authorities.
NOTE: The land owner for the event, and or the event staff may withdraw the allowance provisions to state either no person may drink, or no minor may drink.
NOTE: Public "drunkenness" will not be appreciated, and people who get "drunk" at the event will be asked to sober up in their tent or be sent home with a sober driver.
NOTE: No person under the influence of alcohol (see state driving limits for guideline) may participate in Dagorhir Combat.
Fraternization
Rules for fraternizing with minors (in this case UNDER 17) will follow state laws. If you are not within legal age range to mess around with the minor, don't even entertain the thought of doing so. You will be escorted out of the event and if appropriate the authorities will be notified.
While there is no close-in-age exemption to the Texas legal age of consent, it is an acceptable defense in court if the defendant is either a spouse of the victim, or is less then 3 years older than the victim. In all cases the act must be consensual. An affirmative defense does not bar arrest and prosecution.
