Ok so someone asked me a question I didn't have an answer for, so I'll ask you all. If a red equals 2 blue hits, Why doesn't one swing from a red to an un-armored arm kill someone? It didn't make sense when I thought about it. so someone please let me in on the dealy-O.

I'd say if a red swing = 2 blue hits.. then 2 blue hits to the same arm wouldn't do anything further than kill the arm.. Ionno maybe there's more to it. That's just my thought on the matter

It's not that a red does 2 blues worth of damage, it just does twice as much to a target area. Plus it's also a means to keep reds from being overpowered. I'd hate to get a half-arsed swing that taps my elbow to kill me. BTW, two blues to an arm -does- kill you Ash, as the arm wouldn't be there to intercept the second blue hit (if it really got hacked off )

Actually it's how it was hit, if it was hit twice in vertical hits then i don't think it constitutes a kill cause then if it wasn't there after the first swing you wouldn't have hit anything at all, it a matter of how you hit it.

Basically a second hit to a dead arm always kills. This is to keep people from using a dead arm as a shield. Also, judging such hits would make it alot more complicated and could stall the action on the field.
