You're lucky our mods aren't the national board mods You'd be UBER-BANNED... lmfao But seriously, I'm starting to go there less and less.. if I could get the handful of people who I can totally dig to hang out on here more often? I dunno if I'd ever read the national forums. Except to drool over Wynar's plasti-dip stuff.

Then they want a 40 degree flex round-head speedglaive, yes? So they can hit people with the "shaft" of the "spear"? Or maybe a min back-end, max-length, near-max-flex quarterstaff? It's not that anyone WANTS a super-flexy spear, it's that the folks who make those calls wanted a consistent rule and decided to allow spears to flex as much as javelins. That, and some folks couldn't seem to understand what 45 degrees for an arc as opposed to an angle (a la the graphic that someone posted). By allowing more flex for spears, they rarely fail for flex. As a spearman I agree that you wouldn't want such a flexible spear. I like to hit what I aim at, and like to deliver a bit of impact. Too much flex makes it hard to hit what you target, and takes away force from your blow.

What I meant was: IF you want to fight "Yuri-spear" style, you SHOULD use a superflexy "speedpole" for accuracy.
My new spear is 7' of delicious bandshop pole+padding.

People want super flexy spears and huge javelin heads, but they want to outlaw backshields because it's an effective tactic they didn't think up. What's next, someone suggesting we adopt a point system for armor? sarcasm right? cause I have heard such BullSheetories sugested
