I did not get pictures of the twisting but that is done by clamping one end in a vice and using a cresent wrench or similar tool to twist the bar the desired amount. After this I heat the small end and flatten it to create a landing that can be drilled through to attach a leather lanyard. The other end is pinched down to start the process of flattening for a spoon or splitting for a fork. In this I'll start with the fork, the end is flattend slightly and split as close to center as possible. Make sure to bottom out the split or it makes it hard to get a nice finnish at the end. Then turn the split into a Y and start drawing out the tines. After the tines are formed bend the tines straight with each other and bend the curves into the fork. Now for the spoon, instead of splitting the flattend end you round the sharp corners. Continue flattening the spoon end untill your happy with the thickness and size. The spoon is now ready to dish. Then curve the spoon to the desired shape The finnished silverware is then coated with beeswax to keep it from rusting. Hope you enjoy the project.
