Looking for some ideas. Right now I'm hitting the jump rope a lot and drilling my shots with both hands on a pell (poor tree ). I'll toss in some footwork drills I learned a few weeks back every now and again. If anyone has any cool ideas or drills they work please post!

I have a buddy who used a sledgehammer to help him work on spear shots. I've used five pound weights while practicing my strike lines and stuff.

I've hunt 3 tennis balls from my ceiling at shield knee, sword hip and shield shoulder height. Spear them for accuracy. Also spear alternating sides of a table leg, then tap the top of the table with the tip of the spear. Footwork drills, lateral side to side drills, strike to haft block, strike to haft block spin out to distance, strike to drop on your belly and roll out drill. A lot of these are to get the hell out of a charging shieldman.
Also, strike, step left strike left, right, chest, legs; step to the center, same; step to the right, same, lunge, retreat; more haft blocking. just mixing in stances and things.
Another drill I do is two handed spear shot, to one handed spear shot, pull it back into a left handed stance and repeat back and forth.
I have to formalize more of my drills, b/c they're still in development.
