first one is my Idea. I would like to make and sticky a post that is a quick reference guide to all the Midwest weekly and regular practices. Either by realm or day of the week. so anyone that whats to know when groups are fighting it is in one page. And leaders can info the admins to changes so the board can be up dated.
the other idea is one Mortalis had. making a calendar 6 to 12 months out for proposed. discussed and set dates for events. This year alone was a nightmare to schedule for all groups. In a 7 week span from April to May there was 5 events, then 3 in the Months of July. 2 camp outs with in 2 weeks of each other, and between Oct and Nov there might be 4 to 5 events. There is nothing wrong with that per say, but can be a mess to plan around. This would just give realms and groups a tool to try plan around each other and make it easier for all to go to as many a event they can get themselves to.

I totally approve idea number 1. I'd kill for a posted list... it'd be much easier to plan spur of the moment outings if they were all posted somewhere instead of seeing something about a practice on Facebook and not knowing the whos/whats/wheres and by the time you get that info everyone has already left. As for the second one. I'm actually the calendar admin on the boards. As I see events posted up, I add them to the forum calendar - which displays them at the bottom of the main forum page. Only problem with that though, is that you actually have to actively search for the calendar. It's up on the toolbar with your navigation links (home/profile/etc) but I don't know how often it's utilized by people outside myself adding in up and coming events. (btw, Gates/Dark Tides/etc are forthcoming )
