As of late I’ve been doing some thinking and talking to different people, and feel that I need to let everyone know more about where Aman Peak stands as a Unit. I’ll let you all know some history of the group and where we are and want to be here in Dagorhir.
(In writing this, I am not trying to start a fight. I’m not trying offend or hurt. There hasn’t been any problems that prompted me to write this. It’s just something that I should have done the day we started and am just now getting to.)
Aman Peak was formed by William Cook, Treyson Abby, and Tyler Hanes about 4 or 5 years ago. It was a group that they started when they joined a game called Conquest. (formally Eldarenth and as of this day is again known as that) They had some trouble integrating into the game that was big on titles and role-playing to get EVERYTHING. As a result they found someone willing to join them and show them the ropes. Joey Yoder was added as a member and soon get all the “haters” to chill out. Joey was a big part of keeping this game running and was put out a lot by the constant stress of the whole thing. It began to strain on the unit and after the downfall of Conquest they all decided that if they were going to stay a unit that they would only play for fun and nothing more.
After induction and falling away of many members and the inevitable fall out of their chosen game, the roster stayed and currently is at 4 members.
William Cook- Captain William Tashum, Ghost Captain of a flying ship
Tyler Hanes- Jerick of Iron Paw, Hammer master and resident giant
Victoria Yoder- Bijin Snow, Sexy eye candy of the group, Kitsune(demon fox)
Joey Yoder-Reluctant leader, Loomi(a race I’ll write about later) Jack of all trades.
So that’s the quick and dirty of the group up to Dagorhir. Now just quick world view of us. We are a group of mismatched kids that didn’t want to just be humans in a “fantasy” game. But I think that’s apparent. On to the big stuff.
Aman Peak, even though a unit, doesn’t care about power. We don’t want to be in control of anything or have to be anymore responsible than we have to. We are all more than willing to help out as long as it don’t become a total drain on us. We are in Dagorhir to PLAY A GAME. It’s something we’re doing in our spare time and not something that will take anymore than a weekend of our time here and there. I’m not saying that if want us to help out, be it money, rides, resources, time, that we WON’T do it. I’m saying that it’s not our place or responsibility. We love playing with everyone. We love being a part of Ravenwood. We just don’t want anyone to get the idea that any amount of leadership or work will just “fall on us” unless we agree to it.
Thanks for your time, and if you want to talk to me more about any of this or you just want to talk, Email me at yoderj@otc.edu .
