So, I was about to start working on a new bearded axe when I decided to check the rules on limb catching, to make sure the weapon would be legal in design. I read through the whole MoA and couldn't find one. I even did a search for the work limb on the page and the only thing I found that's even close is:
"4.2.5.4. The rope or cloth of the flail chain must be covered with segmented foam (rings) to reduce risk of the chain wrapping a weapon or limb."
This rule only specifically mentions flails however. If anyone can find where in the MoA it states a weapon may not catch limbs, or establishes guidelines for weapons to not catch limbs it would be appreciated, as I'd like to start this axe and make sure it follows the rules.
P.S. only accepting the MoA as the source of a limb catching rule, as it is the official rules adopted by the Ragnarok War Council, all other sources will be considered opinions.

In the new MOA and the previous MOA at least, there is no rule that mentions limb catching or trapping. The following armor rule is the closest I can find:
Bearded axes are pretty common in Dagorhir. Go for it.

I'm pretty sure the idea of weapons not being able to catch limbs is more intended to prohibit the making of weapons designed SPECIFICLY to catch limbs. And stuff thats just stupidly dangerous. You see all kinds of axes in pictures and I've had a few that are real long in the beard. None of them were ever a problem. I always just try to use common sense when ever a hard rules isn't available. If it safe, it's safe and you know it by looking at it. K
