Okay, as for the council meetings and times, we had decided to host most of the stuff on here, so that we won't have to meet frequently or for very long. As for the physical meetings, I propose bi-monthly at a place that we can all come to and a time that we can all attend. I'm aware of Martus and Mehran's schedules being somewhat difficult to work around, ect ect. Discuss further what times will work and where will be most convenient.
I'm getting the Weapon Smithing Guild together to decide what and who and where, and I will announce it next week.
As for the Herald's Guild, no deletions, two additions to the Apprenticeship: Tormir (due to his broken arm) and Silverfox (due to her request to join the Guild). I will get with the active members to discuss fine details (probably over the boards to save time).
Recruiting is something of a MACHINE GUN!!!, since things are getting colder, and, as Skeith pointed out, we have no indoor site. We need updated fliers, and we need them posted all over campus (that requires approval from Campus Activities) as well as papering all of W-burg with it. We need fund raisers (off campus), and just about any other activity that gets us in the public eye. Lots of people know OF us, but they don't know ABOUT us. The Involvement Fair was a start, but that was a couple months ago. Time to step it up. All suggestions are open for discussion. Skeith, you got any ideas, bro?
Indoor site is a whole other ballgame. We HAVE jacked a gym a week ago, but that kind of behavior can get us kicked off campus for the semester. Fact is, we don't have an indoor site, and we can't get one until January. We're doing the paperwork to reserve it now, but that doesn't give us a place to go now. We may have to simply suck it up for a little while, as much as that pains me to say. I'm still looking into the cost of renting a gym at the W-burg Community Center. Haven't gotten ahold of anyone yet, but I'm trying. Apparently, they like large parties with lots of moolah, but they haven't quoted me a price yet. I'm working on it.

I can make the fliers in the mac lab for my graphics class, I'm usually caught up/ahead in this class and we use all sorts of stuff, and also I could make club tee-shirts (at least a few of them, for a fundraiser next semester since I'll be in screen printing and I'll need something to work off of, and that can be a big thing if people like the shirts. Also it'll give the kids who show up some colors to sport when they don't wear garb. (Just an Idea) also anything medieval (spelling anyone?) people just for that kinda thing and we won't even have to jack the prices up to make it like ren fest...yay! *sigh*
those were my ideas, but tere's no way in hell that it'll work unless we get people involved, and that's no good...we need to find something that will get most of the members of our org involved in the running, they don't want a tyranny, but they won't step up(save for a few key people, who I'm excluding with that statement, but then again, most of the club is the NON council) Try to think something that'll allow people to get involved?

I still think for recruting wise targeting the Dagorhir audiance is a good idea. If we wanted fliers I could possiblely draw a picture for it if you want or we could just use regular cool Dagorhir pics. We should go to the gaming shops in town and advertise. I know there are atleast 2 gaming shops in Das Burg so we should go put stuff up for them. Also when is the Beowulf movie coming out? We could go do a demo at the theater, for any sword fighting movie in general. I know there are nerds on campus. Just walking down from Tormir's Room I had like 3 or 4 people stop me and talk to me about magic because I was holding mah deck box. There's my idea, as far as outside fighting I don't mind it but we need to show up and start battle earlier than the flier says. (us being the responsible ones)

Further, I got a wild hair up my bum to get something accomplished, so I updated our website, edited the Constitution, and revamped the Waiver. I've also got a very confusing .pdf file from the WCC about pricing, so I'm going to print it off and take it down to the front desk and have some things cleared up. No matter what, we're going to have to pay to use their services, but there's a difference between $44 and $118 per day. I'll make these things clear before I discuss among the general peeps.
